Finally - a quality candle in that coveted 1 kg size, in a desirable shape & price point!

This one is exactly what it says - nothing more, nothing less. It was simply about finding the elusive "1 kg Rarity". Finding good glassware in larger shapes is so tricky. Anything above 500 ml, and options jump into to vase territory. Hard to find - not to mention pricy.

So when I spotted these glass "bowls", I jumped at a chance to share them.  The dimensions are just so good, too. Larger diameters often tend to be too shallow for candles - there has to be enough height to balance the extra width. Also - it's such a neat, clean and clear glass quality A Contemporary shape with thin, straight sides.

Usually, I'm very careful not to use vessels which are not specifically intended for candles- it's not always safe if the glass cracks under heat. But these guy were Borisilicate - that's important because it's a type of glassware that can withstand high temps, and more specifically, sudden temperature differences. Win, win, win!

Looks simple, but so very rare to find, and equally so useful - it's a  substantial coffee table piece that will also give a generous throw with those triple wicks. This offering is all about the vessel, so I didn't overthink the scent - stealing one of my favs from the current Privèe Collection that I think deserves some extra airtime. Fleur Solaris is just so "cashmeria, clean & dreamy". It has that "creamy quality" you find in expensive body balms, without being too predictable and boring.  

I wanted this to be about the vessel & great scent, keeping costs down on extra's like fancy packaging. So this one comes in a fairly generic white box - no major bells & whistles. However, still a charming little package with the signature gold cord tie, founder's note card and embossed gold foil details. 

If I could have bought 100 of these I would have, but alas I grabbed all I could and ran with my 5 pieces - now I have 5 of these 1KG showstoppers to share with you all.

A sun-drenched blend of creamy coconut milk and mahogany, wrapped in radiant white florals and warm, golden amber. Incredibly likeable, it's a soft blend, featuring key notes of: Coconut Milk, Mahogany, Warm Amber, Solar Florals, Bezoin
